12:00 to 4:30

·        Picnic includes:

·        Kids games:

·        Rock Wall

 

·        Grand Rapids Area GM Dealers will have cars on displays.

 

·        Camaro and Corvette Club Cars

 

·        American Made Car Show:  Employees, retirees, and family members are invited to participate either by voting for your favorite vehicle or by bringing your vehicle for display.  You must pre-register if interested in displaying a vehicle and is limited to the first 100.  Classification include:

            Corvette                                                          Trucks                                     Antiques (54 and older)

            Muscle Cars                                                     Classics (55 and newer)           Motorcycles

            Street Rod (1948 and older)                            Customs (1949 and newer)

 

·        Time Trials will be taking place during the picnic.

·        Racetrack Pit Tours:  Group tours (16 years and older) will be held during the afternoon.

·        Friendly Reminder:  No alcohol allowed at the family picnic. 

 

7:00 p.m.

·        Race:  Tickets are $6 each for adults (ages 13 and older) and $3 each for children (ages 4 to 12). 

Under 2 admitted free.

·        Fireworks:  There will be a fireworks display after the race.

·        Non-alcoholic beverages will be allowed to be brought in coolers to the race (maximum cooler size 18” x 18’’).

·        Beer and wine coolers are for sale at the track and reasonably priced.

·        Family seating for the race is available with no smoking or alcohol allowed.

 

If you plan on attending just the race, please plan on arriving early.  Last year the highway was backed up by 5 p.m.

Rain date is set for Saturday, August 14, 2004.

 

Tickets will be for sale in the plant at the Communication Center June 24, 25, and July 22, 23, 2004.
