Trustee Report September 2005
Dear Local 730 Members,
Wow! It’s September already. Where did the summer go? I was gone for two weeks in July and August attending the National PEL Program in Detroit. This was by far the most rewarding educational experience that I have attended. (Look for a complete report in next month’s Focus on Labor.)
New Business There are several projects that we would like to see completed by Christmas. 1. Replace carpet on stage and install plug covers. 2. Try and eliminate one storage garage. 3. Parking lot swept and lines repainted; weather permitting. 4. Sell floor scrubbers. 5. Change roof filters.
Snow plow postings will go up in the plant the last week of September.
Old Business Just a reminder to all Standing Committees: You need to go through and take inventory of your committee’s things. Our goal is to eliminate one storage stall if possible. The deadline is November 1st.
If anybody has any questions, concerns, or suggestions just let one of us know.
Respectfully submitted,
LOCAL 730, UAW
