Trustee Report June 2006
Greetings Local 730 Members and Retirees!
Repairs · Riteway Heating and Cooling was called to the hall on June 8, to replace a programmable thermostat in the back of the hall. (The present one no longer operated the air conditioner.) · The drinking fountain in the hall had to be removed because of several leaks and its age. With the membership approval, we hope to have a new one installed in August sometime. · It has been brought to our attention that there is a problem with the PA System in the hall. We are currently looking into this.
Bid Sale The Trustee Sale at the hall was a huge success. We generated around $2300 in revenue and at the same time freed up a lot of space at the hall and at the storage buildings. Our goal is to continue to clean house and reduce our storage garage to just one.
Thanks We would like to say a big thank you to Darwin Stout who was able to get our Local an additional $500 off the ceiling tile bid that we got from Lowe’s. This is another example of the things that we can accomplish when our members help out. Thanks Dar.
August Agenda The semi-annual audit is set for August, along with the ceiling tile replacement.
Have a great shutdown. See you in August!
