Welcome back Local 730 Members and Retirees!
Hall Improvements
While most of us were enjoying our time off during the holidays, the inside of the hall was being painted by Jessie, our custodian, and his crew. Wow! What a nice change. Not only does the two tone paint give the hall some much needed character, it will reduce the need for touchups due to table and chair scrapes against the walls.
We are currently negotiating with Region 1D to acquire Local 1231’s chairs. This would be a huge asset to our hall.
Ramon Diaz has been awarded the electrical work bid for work to be done at the hall. We would like to thank Ramon for his interest in making these necessary repairs.
Also, we would like to thank Don Ames for his past electrical work and dedication performed at the hall.
Whenever there is work to be performed at the hall, we will give our members and retirees an opportunity to bid on work at the hall before going to an outside contractor whenever possible.
Trustees’ Audit
The semi-annual audit is scheduled for February 8, 9, and 10.
Trustees’ Sale
After inventory has been taken, we will schedule a bid sale for May.
