President’s Report by Barb Henderson

Membership Meeting April 17, 2007

Scholarship Recipients

Congratulations to our Local 730 scholarship recipients:

Jacob Clark and Tobijah Koening

There were ten applications submitted this year for the Local 730 UAW Active and Retired Members Scholarship Program.  I wish we could offer more scholarships.  All the kid’s did a great job.  Their parents have a lot to be proud of.

Thank You

Again, I would like to thank the membership for allowing me the opportunity to serve as an elected delegate to the Constitution to serve on the Resolutions Committee at the Special Bargaining Convention.  It is an honor and a privilege.  Also, I would like to thank our Region 1D Director Don Oetman for assigning me to serve on this committee.

Labor Heritage 50/50 Raffle

Steve Lubbinge was the winner of the raffle held to raise funds for the Labor Monument to be dedicated April 19.  Thanks to the many volunteers who have worked long and hard to make this a reality.
