Congratulations!
Dallas Dean, who was
appointed last year by Governor Granholm to the Board of Department of Human
Services, was just elected within the Board to Vice Chairman. Again,
congratulations
Dallas.
I just don’t know how you find the time to do all the many things you do,
and do them all so well.

Giants Award
I would like to
congratulate all of the Giant Award recipients, but especially our very own
Local 730 member – Bennette Gay, who received the Martha Reynolds Labor
Award January 26.
For nearly two
decades while working full time at General Motors, Bennette made a huge
commitment to his community and its children by coaching basketball through
area high schools (Central,
Union, and Creston).
He served as a mentor, an advisor, and a father, as well as working with
high school counselors and college coaches to help guide these young people
in furthering their education.
