PRESIDENT’S REPORT By: Barb Henderson
February 2006 MANY THANKS Thank you to Local 1231 Retirees for their support in helping us obtain the tables and chairs from their closed union hall, they look great! A big thank you to our Trustees for all of their hard work removing the old tables and chairs and setting up the new ones, the chairs really improved the look of our hall. Also, thank you to Dave Everts for donating the use of his trailer for the project.
I want to take this opportunity to thank all of the members who offer their time to make repairs to Local 730 and ask for nothing in return. In addition, I wish to thank our members who always make it to the union meetings even though they aren’t required to per our bylaws, what dedication! Again, thank you to all for supporting our standing committees by attending their activities or by purchasing raffle tickets from them.
