NOMINATION AND ELECTION NOTICE
LOCAL 730, UAW

 

 

Nominations will open for the remainder of the term for District 9 Committeeperson at 8:30 a.m. Monday, September 22, 2008 and will close at 3:00 p.m. Monday, September 29, 2008.

 The thirteen (13) hour election will be held from 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, October 14, 2008 to 9:00 a.m. Wednesday, October 15, 2008 at the Local 730, UAW Union Hall, 3852 Buchanan SW, Grand Rapids, Michigan.

 Those wishing to accept nomination must do so in writing on the proper form available at the Local 730, UAW office.  You must be a member in good standing of Local 730 for a period of one year.  You must specify the district you are accepting nomination for, and be working on that shift in that district as your regular shift at the time of nomination. 

If necessary, a runoff election will be held for a 13 hour period from 8:00 p.m.           Wednesday, October 22, 2008 to 9:00 a.m. Thursday, October 23, 2008 at the Local 730, UAW Union Hall, 3852 Buchanan SW, Grand Rapids, Michigan.
