Career Day Reminder

Tuesday, April 27, 2004

A Career Day is being held for the daughters and sons of our hourly and salary Grand Rapids Metal Fabrication employees that are in grades 9-12. Information regarding Career Day is as follows:

Morning: 5:30-7:00 a.m. Children may be dropped off at the union hall.

Breakfast is provided and parents are welcome.

7:00-7:30 Program begins with Key Four Speakers

7:30-8:00 Ice Breaker

8:00-8:15 Safety Film

8:15-8:30 Break into Groups

8:30-12:00 Plant Tour

Afternoon: 12:00-12:15 Lunch is also provided at the union hall, and again parents are welcome to

have lunch with their children.

12:15-1:00 Speakers

1:00-2:00 Activity

2:00-3:00 Closing Evaluation

3:00 Program ends. Children to be picked up.

The two hour plant tour requires long pants, long sleeve shirts or jackets, and leather enclosed shoes. NO TENNIS SHOES!

  • No smoking
  • Anyone planning to leave prior to 3 p.m. must have a signed permission slip from a parent/guardian.
