Active & Retired Members

How healthy are your heart and arteries?

· Students attend an enjoyable class at UAW Local 730 Union Hall.

· Receive a non-invasive, painless 20 minute health screening including Echocardiogram, Carotid Artery Ultrasound and Arterial Stiffness Index.

Confidential results mailed directly to your home.

· No age or medical restrictions due to past surgeries or metal implants.

· UAW-GM and UAW-Delphi represented active workers and retirees are eligible (dependents not eligible). Cost is covered by your Tuition Assistance Plan.

You should be screened if you have one of these risk factors:

high cholesterol • family history of heart disease or stroke

smoking history • high blood pressure • diabetes

Also valuable as a base line for those in good health

Register at the Retiree Meeting on August 28 or outside the Plant Cafeteria August 27, from 6:00am to 6:00pm

Screening: October 2 or October 3
Class 2: Oct 9: 7:30am – 9:30pm or - Noon - 2:00 pm or 3:30 pm - 5:30pm Screening appointments given on a first registered basis.
