The Transition Center is now closed. Questions may be directed to the Transition Center Rep, Angie Van Arnam, at angie.vanarnam@gm.com or to the TAA staff at Michigan Works.

TAA:  According to the official TAA Report, our plant is approved and certified. TAA is administered by Michigan Works, not by GM or the UAW. Some information is available here: TAA Frequently Asked Questions. However, most of your questions will need to be addressed by a TAA Rep at Michigan Works.

For assistance with accessing TAA/TRA benefits, creating a resumè, searching for a job, or setting up an online unemployment/MARVIN account, please contact a Michigan Works office. Click here for contact information for the location nearest to you: http://www.michworks.org

SUB:  Please be aware that when you file for an unemployment extension, you will need to restart your SUB by sending in an application for the period of the first two weeks of your extension. After you've reported to MARVIN for those two weeks, send GM 1) proof of pay for those weeks (can be obtained by setting up an online account at www.michigan.gov/uia-cwam, or calling UIC at 866-845-0077, or visiting a Michigan UIC office), 2) your new Monetary Determination letter, and 3) a paper SUB application (available at the Region 1D Benefits office or at www.layoffbenefits.com). Our plant's Cisco for the  application is 48063-952. The address to mail these documents to is on the second page of the SUB application.
