Our UAW Local 730 Retiree Chapter President is Karl Dyksterhouse. His reports are posted below. Retirees of Local 730 meet on the last Thursday of every month at noon at the Region 1D hall at Leonard and the E. Beltline.

The VEBA has announced these changes in retiree benefits for 2012: Limited dental and vision benefits have been restored, covering dental cleanings twice yearly, x-rays, fillings, and a routine vision exam every 24 months with a $25 copay. Please remember to call Region 1D at (616) 949-4100 when you have an address change. Also, when a retiree passes away, the surviving spouse needs to call in order to continue to receive mailings from the retiree chapter.
