In the Benefits office, Lauri Veneman is working hard to keep up with all of your concerns.  Because the office is extremely busy servicing thousands of retirees along with the remaining employees and their families, you can help by doing the following:

For problems with pension or sub pay, please call the GM Benefits Center at 1-800-489-4646. If this doesn't resolve your issue, please contact the local Benefits office. 

For help with a medical bill, contact Blue Cross at 1-800-482-2210 (employees) or 1-877-832-2829 (retirees). Hold the line without pushing any buttons, and wait for a representative. If you still have a problem after speaking to Blue Cross, then contact the local Benefits office.

If you need to see a Benefit Rep, please call first. If you just show up, Lauri is likely to already be with someone else, or on the phone, or at a Retiree Meeting. To be sure you are given the attention you deserve, please call ahead.
